AIDN was joined by Peter Singer of The Life You Can Save and BRAC Executive Director, Asif Saleh.

Recently named to the 2026 TIME100 Philanthropy list, Asif leads BRAC – one of the world’s largest and most respected development organisations, working across health, education, social enterprise, academia and banking throughout Asia and Africa. Peter Singer, recognised in the 2025 TIME100 Philanthropy list, has spent decades shaping global conversations around ethics and effective giving.

Together, they explored effective giving, systems change, and the future of global development, and delved into the evolution of ‘Profit for Good’ models, what actually works in philanthropy, and why this moment calls for both ambition and pragmatism.
