What a night. 🌍
Last Wednesday, we were thrilled to host our provocation event: “Beyond Localisation: Who Leads? Who Decides? A provocation on power, foreign funding and INGOs.”
Held at Canva HQ in Sydney, the conversation explored power, foreign funding, and the evolving role of INGOs within the localisation agenda in international development.
Chaired by AIDN’s Executive Director, Julie Rosenberg, we were privileged to hear from an outstanding panel:

The discussion challenged tokenistic interpretations of localisation, examined how localisation plays out across different government contexts, and invited an honest debate about control, decision-making, and the future of aid.
We were also delighted to host a Global Givers Social immediately afterwards – which was a wonderful opportunity to continue the conversation and strengthen connections across the sector.
